What is on

The National Trust lists four festive events at Packwood this winter:

Event Dates Time
Christmas at Packwood House Sat 28 Nov to Sun 3 Jan, selected days 9am to 4pm
Winter Artisan Bazaar Sat 28 and Sun 29 Nov 10am to 3.30pm
Christmas lunches, Garden Kitchen Café Mon 30 Nov to Wed 23 Dec, selected dates 12pm to 2pm
Christmas breakfast tours Tue 1 to Thu 17 Dec, selected dates 9am to 11am

The bazaar is hosted by The Radiant Fox, and the Trust names handmade silver jewellery, pottery, glassware, board games and tree ring art among the stalls. The breakfast tours start with breakfast in the café, then an early morning tour of the house decorated for Christmas, before the day’s visitors arrive.

What is not yet readable: the theme of this year’s decorations, whether Father Christmas visits, and the prices for the lunches and breakfast tours. The individual event pages sit behind a browser check that blocks our reader, and the listing does not carry them. Check the Trust’s booking page before you go, especially for the lunches and breakfast tours, which run on a limited number of dates (the listing shows 18 lunch dates and six breakfast tour dates).

How much it costs

These are the National Trust’s published pay-as-you-go prices for Packwood, in its “Winter Admission from 3 November” table:

Ticket Price
Adult (18+) £12
Child (5 to 17) £6
Under 5 Free
Family, 2 adults and up to 3 children £30
1 adult, 2 children £18

Members do not pay admission. The Trust says pre-booking is not needed for individual visits, only for groups of 15 or more, and that it occasionally runs extra events and trails that are not covered by membership or admission. Head to Visitor Reception when you arrive.
